Dinner with Ohlala

Last night I met with Steph and Alek at their hotel in Dam square. They're both really friendly guys and we all ended up going to dinner together. Somehow they were talked into biking to the restaurant – what can I say, they're good sports!

We went to a little Indian restaurant called The Himalaya and ordered a bit of everything. We had butter chicken, vegetable korma, biryani and naan and passed the plates around. We had some dessert afterwards and then split up so that they could go out and "review" a couple of Amsterdam's infamous gay clubs while I went dancing at The Winston.

Damn, how hot that the bloggies are to be in our dear capital. I'd deffinitely recommend the Irish pubs, especially the ones on the Leidseplein (the sqare), where you will also find the two clubs Paradiso and Melkweg (the Milkyway). You will also be near the Red Light District, which is an amazing district to visit after clubbing, to meet some dazed people, especially the other tourists who are more interesting than the Dutch really. Anyhow, I'm sure your guides have informed you already, but whatever you do, DO NOT pee anywhere, exept in a Dixie. It's a common mistake among the male tourist population, which costs €50 and a night spent in jail. HAVE FUN BOYS!
